Last week, under a pretty unforgettable backdrop of Northern Lights over Banff, Farncombe trainees and faculty had the opportunity to attend and present posters, oral papers and lectures at the Keystone Symposia on Microbiome Metabolism and Metabolites: Discovery and Function in Health and Disease.
It was an energizing meeting, packed with incredible data where the openness in sharing ideas, methods, and even unpublished results made for most valuable conversations and hopefully new collaborations. A large group of faculty and trainees from different Farncombe Institute labs attended, pictured below.

From our lab, huge congratulations to Amber Hann (PhD student), Kelly Kan (PhD student) and Xavier mas-orea (PDF) for amazing poster presentations, which were highly attended, generating intense scientific debate as I could witness from the distance. I share also a few highlights in the photos below, including a great photo of the Northern Lights taken by Xavier Mas-Orea.
